Competition.

and was one away from
placing.

Battles his way to the
finals and finishes 2nd at
the Super 32's in North
Carolina. Coach
Schroeck said "It was great
to experience wrestling on
the East Coast. Both
Gabe and I were sick... but
he battled his way to the
finals anyway. We are
both happy to get back so he
can make some adjustments
before Brute Bighorn
Nationals."

Regionals and Nationals
Results!
USAW Freestyle and Greco
Nationals
Grant Boggs of York, Mont.,
won the national
championship in both Greco
Roman and freestyle
wrestling.
The top eight wrestlers in
each age and weight class
earn All-American standing:
Zach Schroeck of Clancy took
fourth in Greco Roman and
fifth in Freestyle in the
Intermediate 55-pound class;
Kameron Rauser of Townsend
finished sixth in Greco and
fourth in Freestyle in the
Intermediate 60-pound class;
Seth Schroeck of Clancy took
sixth in the Novice 60-pound
class; Lee Cannon of Butte
took third in Greco and
fourth in Freestyle in the
Novice 95-pound class;
Landon Bailey of East Helena
finished fourth in Greco and
took fifth in Freestyle in
the Schoolboy 77-pound
class; Johnny LaFountain of
Billings took sixth in both
styles in the Schoolboy
77-pound class; Matthew
Welch of Shepherd took
fourth in both styles in the
Schoolboy 144-pound class.

USAW 11 State Western
Regional's
The Cobras combined for
seven regional titles and
earned a total of 24 medals
at the tournament.
Cadet Britton Thompson won
regional titles in
Freestyle, Greco Roman and
Folkstyle in the 152-pound
weight class. Schoolboy
Cameron Alverson won titles
in Freestyle and Greco Roman
and finished as runner-up in
Folkstyle in the 91-pound
class. Schoolboy Grant Boggs
won the Freestyle and Greco
Roman events and did not
compete in Folkstyle.
